With the Bridgerton spin-off Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story coming this year, we’re thrilled to give you a glimpse into young King George, Queen Charlotte’s (India Amarteifio) future husband, played by Corey Mylchreest!
Mylchreest brings his fresh face to the role — he’s straight out of drama school, adding depth and complexity to the character in a way we haven’t seen before. “Every day is new because you’re never doing something that you did yesterday, which you always do in theater. It’s very different muscles, and it’s been an absolute joy to stretch myself — and what brilliant people to do it with,” Mylchreest recently told Shondaland.
A story for the ages, King George and Queen Charlotte’s blossoming love is sure to enchant; even Mylchreest can’t help but proclaim that young Queen Charlotte’s “defiant and brave spirit” moves him “every time we’re on-screen.”
