Tomorrow, September 24, Netflix will hold its second annual global fan event, Tudum. The 24-hour virtual event — which garnered 25 million views from 184 countries around the world last year — will again be a smorgasbord of information about upcoming films, series, and specials as well as include dozens of celebrities to tease us on all things Netflix for the upcoming viewing season. Expect breaking stories, new trailers, exclusive tidbits, never-before-seen clips, and first looks at content on the streaming platform, including Shondaland hit Bridgerton and the new Queen Charlotte spin-off.

Speaking of said spin-off, it is with the utmost excitement that we get to reveal to you our very own young Queen Charlotte, played by India Amarteifio! She is pure grace and honor, and we can’t wait to hear more about all she has to offer us when it comes to the origins of Bridgerton’s beloved Queen (Golda Rosheuvel) in the forthcoming prequel series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, created, written, and executive produced by Shonda Rhimes.

“She’s super-strong in times of complete downfall when there’s nothing to even hope for and it’s all bleak,” Amarteifio recently told Shondaland of the series, which chronicles how the young queen ascended the throne and, once atop the monarchy, found herself in a marriage that was as much a love story as it was a union that changed society forever. “Yet she still finds the power and the strength from somewhere,” Amarteifio continued. “It’s a testament to her character.”
