Yesterday marked the 10th anniversary of the debut of the hit television drama Scandal, and gladiators everywhere were reminiscing and rejoicing. Across seven seasons and six years on Thursday nights (#TGIT), we witnessed weekly magic taking place on our screens with Kerry Washington at the helm. We can hardly believe it’s been a whole decade of Olivia Pope’s boss moves, white popcorn and red wine, deeply steamy romance scenes in White House closets, and the best crisis management that television has ever seen.
To celebrate, Shonda Rhimes, the Scandal cast and crew, and we here at Shondaland shared some of our favorite behind-the-scenes memories for gladiators across the globe to muse upon for this special occasion. White hats off to the groundbreaking show that created history — no, herstory!
